Elle ajoute un port Ethernet en cuivre à votre serveur ou à votre ordinateur de bureau et fournit un accès Ethernet multigigabit à votre réseau à quatre vitesses : 2,5 Gbit/s, 1G, 100 Mbit/s, 10 Mbit/s.

La carte réseau 2.5GBASE-T fournit une bande passante supplémentaire en utilisant votre infrastructure Ethernet existante pour réduire le coût de mise à niveau des câblages. La carte vous permet de vous connecter à des équipements 2.5GBASE-T et NBASE-T à des débits réseau de 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, 1 Gbit/s, 2,5 Gbit/s sur votre câblage CAT5e (jusqu'à 100 m selon la configuration réseau).
